Thanks for riding with us on High Desert Trainz! See you at the next station! We hope we gave you enough content to fully enjoy the glamor of wild west railroading, and we hope we can continue to do so through our new identity. It's been a good, long run, with many ups and downs in our site's history, but even the great Santa Fe Railway couldn't last forever on its own. This site will remain open for as long as there's still content to be updated, once everything has and been reuploaded to CSLW, then we shall finally close down this site permanently. Any content marked on our site that has a better version on CSLW will be redirected to that.

Since then, we have been working to upgrade our content to better standards, which have already been uploaded onto the CSLW website.
Improved the ocupling physics engine, connections between locomotives and rolling stock more realistic than you'll find anywhere else.This is a long-belated report, but we have officially merged with our fellow Trainz content website, Carlsbad Steam Locomotive Works (CSLW)! As most of our staff members are also part of the site, we agreed that a merger would benefit both sites and we would be able to expand our reach to more than just western railroads. Added A.W.S (Advanced Warning System) features to the British ECML (East Coast Main Line) route. Configurable control schemes now allow for players to bind controls and tasks to their keyboards, mice, or other gaming devices. Sounds now come from every apsect of the environment, not just from locomotives.
